RBT Updates

In 2026, there are many new updates for RBTs of which both RBTs and BCBA supervisor need to be aware.

First, for new RBTs, there is an update to the 40 hour training requirement and update competency assessment outlining important needed skills for the field of ABA.

Additionally, all current RBTs will do one final recertification with the competency assessment and then will be required to obtain CEUs. This professional development ensures competent treatment in the field of ABA.
